Liverpool Branding Photography with Vegan Beekeeper & Educator
Brand shoot spotlight on Beekeeper, Rachel Sampara.
Rachel and I met outside a wellness event I was photographing outside of Liverpool. I had my little Wild Kind Photography tote bag slung over my shoulder, when she asked if I was the photographer and said she followed me on instagram. Literally made me happy dance inside for the rest of the day. Less than a month after our super sweet meeting, our session was complete, sting-free!
When Rachel told me she was a beekeeper and needed photos for her marketing, I could hardly contain my excitement. Yes, I love photography, but another thing I value is trying new things and learning from uniquely talented women.
The goal of our shoot together was to create joyful website images of Rachel completing a hive inspection, while capturing her love of bees and passion for the environment.
Rachel aims to share the craft of beekeeping through public courses and is working toward finding adequate funding in order to offer free courses to underprivileged members of the local community. She's also experimenting with creating future wax-based products to add to her online shop.
