Inspiring Yoga Poses for Brand Photoshoots in Manchester

Brand photoshoot spotlight on Yoga Instructor, Lorna Royler as she showcases beautiful posing inspiration.


Space at the Mill is an absolutely gorgeous shoot location in Manchester. It's kind of a photographer's dream -gigantic windows along not just one side, but partially along its adjoined wall, industrial ceiling fixtures, concrete floors, white walls, and loads of plants throughout.

As soon as I saw it I knew I HAD to shoot there, not just to experience its beauty myself (which was breathtaking) but to also capture the space in order for others to feel compelled to rent it for their shoots.


I reached out to the owner, Lorna and we found a time to make it work and produce beautiful yoga posing images together in a short photoshoot. Lorna is a strong, beautiful soul and an incredible yogi with a gentle spirit. She even has connections to my home city of Seattle, and named her son after the mountain where I went to Uni. And she's just super cool - check out that necklace!


Before we started shooting, Lorna mentioned she liked weird angles, so we did some non traditional yoga angles, as well as full body poses. Although like most, she had hesitance toward having her photo taken in a non-yoga sense, we managed to find a few comfortable spots to grab some for her to refresh her social media.


I'm so pleased with how her gallery turned out and can't wait to shoot there again - enjoy!
