In this Policy the following terms shall have the following meanings:

3. What Does This Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy applies only to your use of My Site. My Site may contain links to other websites. Please note that I have no control over how your data is collected, stored, or used by other websites and I advise you to check the privacy policies of any such websites before providing any data to them.

i) Rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. I do not use your personal data in this way.

You will not be sent any unlawful marketing or spam. I will always work to fully protect your rights and comply with my obligations under the Data Protection Legislation and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and you will always have the opportunity to opt out. I will always obtain your express opt-in consent before sharing your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes, and you will be able to opt out at any time.

8. How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?
I will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reasons for which it was first collected.

Business information (including your business name, title, website, and ideal client details) is stored on my secure system for a minimum of one year after your shoot or inquiry, unless you ask for it to be removed.

Payment information is encrypted and stored on a secure third-party payment site. I do not have access to your full payment details, but I can archive details from the payment site upon request. Bank transfer histories remain in my banking records but will not contain full card or account details.

Profile information (including brand stances, values, hobbies, and interests) is stored on my secure system for a minimum of one year after your shoot or inquiry, unless you ask for it to be removed. Information such as hobbies or interests may remain visible in past blogs, emails, or social media features, but can be removed from my systems upon request.

I may retain anonymised or aggregated data (which no longer identifies you) indefinitely for business analysis or record-keeping purposes.

9. How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?

I will only store or transfer personal data in or to countries that are deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data, as determined by the UK government.

Some of the services I use are based outside of the UK/EEA or store data in multiple locations worldwide. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, I ensure that appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) are in place to protect your data.
I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect all personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. This includes secure systems, encryption where appropriate, and restricted access controls.
Backups containing personal data are stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary for disaster recovery purposes, after which they are deleted in line with my retention schedule.

In particular, I aim to give you strong controls on our use of your data for direct marketing purposes (including the ability to opt-out of receiving emails from us which you may do by unsubscribing using the links provided in our emails.
11.2 You may also wish to sign up to one or more of the preference services operating in the UK: The Telephone Preference Service (“the TPS”), the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (“the CTPS”), and the Mailing Preference Service (“the MPS”). These may help to prevent you receiving unsolicited marketing. Please note, however, that these services will not prevent you from receiving marketing communications that you have consented to receiving.
