Portraying Quiet Confidence in a Professional Liverpool Photography Studio

  • Mar 4
  • 3 min read

A lot of coaches want their brand shoots to be loud, in-your-face, eye-catching energy.

But that's not for everyone, and it's definitely not the direction Laura wanted to go.

She was after a shoot that felt calm and understated, yet confident.

Coaching for Procurement works with executive and leadership-level professionals within the procurement industry. These are experienced decision-makers. Senior leaders. People who need clarity over hype.

When Laura booked my Show Up Package, the brief was simple: quietly confident.

No exaggerated gestures.

No forced energy.

No “look at me” marketing.

Just an approachable authority.

Who Laura at Coaching for Procurement Works With

Her clients are senior professionals in procurement who are navigating leadership, influence, and strategic responsibility at a high level.

They’re already successful. They’re already capable.

Her role is to help them lead with greater confidence, integrity, and self-awareness, especially in environments that can feel high-pressure or politically complex.

It’s executive coaching, but without ego.

The Vision for This Liverpool Studio Photography Shoot

Because this was my abbreviated package, we kept things simple.

No deep planning calls. No elaborate props. Just clear intention and a focused two-hour session.

We chose clean, neutral surroundings and natural light. Structured but relaxed poses. Space to breathe.

The energy needed to feel:

  • Honest

  • Steady

  • Professional

  • Confident but never “in your face.”

We avoided the big gestures and overly animated expressions you often see in coaching marketing. Instead, we leaned into eye contact, posture, and stillness.

Sometimes authority is quiet.

Why It Works

Executive clients don’t always respond to noise. They respond to credibility, which is exactly what these images reflect.

There’s clarity in them. Space. A sense of composure.

They position her as someone who understands leadership because she embodies it.

A Reminder About the Show Up Package

This shoot is a great example of what’s possible with a shorter session. Especially when you book a stunning photography studio, like this one in Liverpool.

When your positioning is clear and your message is strong, you don’t need a full-day production. You just need to show up with intention.

And that’s exactly what we did.

How Her Shoot Made Her Feel

After working with my clients, I send them a survey that has two purposes:

  1. to collect information that will help improve my client experience

  2. to share their business with my audience on social media and as a feature in an upcoming Wild Kind Newsletter

Here's a summary of what she shared in her survey:

I actually found Wild Kind through Google. My VA came across you, and your approach felt exactly like what I had been looking for. I booked the shoot because I wanted to capture quiet confidence, and you completely understood that. This was my third set of brand photos, and while I enjoyed working with previous photographers, it is the first time I have felt fully confident sharing my images.

Before, I cringed at my photos; they did not feel like me, they were not authoritative enough, and they did not reflect how I see myself. Now I feel confident sharing these images, but not in an in-your-face way, which is exactly what I wanted. It is still early days, but I have already received lots of compliments and finally feel aligned with how I am showing up.

"Working with Kayleigh was a fantastic experience. She understood exactly what I was looking for, and she made me feel so comfortable during the shoot. I'm really pleased with the final photos. Kayleigh goes the extra mile with so many additional touches before, during, and after the shoot - I highly recommend her!" - Laura's review on Google
